It has a whopping 500W power capacity, too, so you know this chopper is definitely up to the task.

Are vegetable choppers worth it?

In our opinion, definitely! They take so much hassle out of food preparation which, for many people, is one of the biggest barriers to cooking at home. You can chop vegetables and other ingredients super quickly and with minimal mess, which is great if you dread cleaning up (and who doesn’t?). Vegetable choppers also tend to be much safer than using a kitchen knife, as they generally have safety features that protect you from sharp blades.

Our verdict

Food choppers make slicing and dicing fruit and veg so much easier, and are definitely a great investment regardless of your cooking skill level.

All our choices are fantastic options, but we are particularly keen on KitchenAid Cordless Food Chopper as it has a ton of useful features that make food prep quick and easy. We also love that it’s cordless, which means you aren’t limited by power cable length or socket position. Another great option is the JIANFA Manual Food Chopper, which is low on price but big on chopping power.
